Light
This project explores the possibilities of 3D printing beyond conventional layer-based fabrication. Through experimentation with custom G-code and continuous extrusion paths, the lamp investigates how the printing process itself can become a tool for design.
Rather than treating 3D printing solely as a means of reproducing predefined geometry, the project explores the relationship between material behaviour, toolpath generation, and the resulting form. The continuous deposition of material creates a woven, translucent structure that interacts with light, producing a distinctive texture and visual depth.
Developed through an iterative process of digital experimentation and physical prototyping, the lamp represents an ongoing exploration of computational design, material expression, and additive manufacturing.
